Manchester United's David de Gea will be on international duty with Spain next week after being called into their 'Olympic' squad.
Spain's Under-23s are playing Egypt next week in a game the Spanish have confirmed as a pre-Olympic friendly.
Goalkeeper De Gea now looks firmly in line to take part in the Olympic football tournament in August.
One other English-based player is included in the shape of Chelsea midfielder Oriol Romeu.
The likes of Barcelona's Isaac Cuenca, Sporting Lisbon's Diego Capel, Marserille's Cesar Azpilicueta and Benfica's Rodrigo - who spent last season with Bolton - are also included.
