Jose Mourinho's odds to leave Chelsea have been significantly cut again following their 3-1 defeat to Liverpool, with the Blues now shorter to be relegated than to retain their title.

Sky Bet have cut the 'Special One' from 4/5 to just 1/3 to be the next Premier League manager to leave their post, while reporting sustained interest in his departure despite the short odds.

Jose under pressure, red card controversy and Coutinho's impact

Indeed, Mourinho is now 4/7 to go before next Saturday's trip to Stoke, live on Sky Sports 1, and 2/1 to still be in charge come the turn of the year.

Philippe Coutinho struck twice before substitute Christian Benteke wrapped up the win after Ramires had given the hosts an early lead at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea's sixth defeat makes this their worst start to a league season since 1978/79 with Mourinho losing nine of his last 17 games in all competitions compared to just four defeats in 54 games last season.
