Chelsea may face holders Manchester City in Women's FA Cup semi-finals
Monday 19 March 2018 13:40, UK
Chelsea will play either Sunderland or holders Manchester City in the semi-final of the Women’s FA Cup after the draw for the competition was made on Monday.
The poor weather conditions over the weekend meant only one quarter-final took place, with FA WSL 1 leaders Chelsea easing past Liverpool 3-0.
The other three last-eight ties- Durham v Everton, Arsenal v Charlton Athletic and Sunderland v Manchester City - have now been rescheduled for March 25.
Both semi-finals will take place on April 15 as the remaining teams left in the competition attempt to battle through to the final at Wembley on May 5.
Arsenal will be hoping to secure their second trophy of the season after they defeated Manchester City 1-0 in the WSL Cup final on Wednesday night.
