Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has been charged with misconduct by the FA after he was sent to the stands in Monday's draw with Burnley.
Tempers flared in stoppage-time as Mateo Kovacic squared up to a number of Burnley players, prompting Sarri to make his way down the touchline to intervene.
Referee Kevin Friend then decided to send Sarri off.
There was a melee at full-time involving members of both benches as well Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger, who was not in the squad due to injury.
Sky Sports News has been told the Chelsea bench believed they were being criticised for not being able to speak English.
Sarri has until 6pm on Friday to respond to the charge.
The FA continues to investigate following the match.
