For the second year running, Barcelona playmaker Ronaldinho has picked up the Fifa World Player of the Year award, just a few weeks after scooping the Ballon d'Or.
Chelsea's Frank Lampard was gracious in defeat, grabbing the runners-up spot in both awards. The World Player of the Year award saw Ronaldinho acquire more than twice as many points as the Chelsea and England midfield man.

Ronaldinho has scored three fewer goals than Lampard but has had more than 15 more shots on target and exhibits a higher shooting accuracy.
