Grant offered Blues deal
On-loan Wycombe midfielder Anthony Grant has been offered a new deal by Chelsea.
On-loan Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Anthony Grant has been offered a new contract by Chelsea.
Grant, who has made just one brief substitute appearance for the Premiership champions, has spent the season with Wycombe.
He has made 40 appearances for the League Two side and is keen to help the club to promotion in the coming weeks.
But regarding his long-term future, Grant admits it is a happy moment to have been offered fresh terms by Jose Mourinho.
"Chelsea have come and watched my games since I have been at Wycombe," Grant told the Bucks Free Press.
"They phone me and tell me how they think I've done and feed it back to the coaching staff.
"I have been told there is a contract there and hopefully we can talk after Wycombe have been promoted.
"I know the offer is there, but at this moment in time all I want to do is concentrate on Wycombe.
"It means a lot to have been offered another contract by Chelsea. I have been there since I was eight."
