Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen has moved to Borussia Monchengladbach in a season-long loan.

The move comes after the 19-year-old progressed into the Chelsea first-team last season.

He made his debut for the Blues in the Capital One Cup at Shrewsbury last October, and also played against Bradford in the FA Cup and made a league appearance against Sunderland.

Christensen won senior international recognition with two substitute appearances for Denmark in July.
