Chelsea ended their pre-season preparations with a 1-0 home defeat to Fiorentina, just three days on from their loss to Arsenal at Wembley

Chelsea were unable to finish their pre-season with a win as they were beaten 1-0 at home by Fiorentina.

Missing Diego Costa, the Premier League champions struggled to create chances and Gonzalo Rodriguez's first-half goal condemned them to defeat.
