Liverpool's goalless draw at home to West Ham in the FA Cup on Saturday has added yet another fixture to their already hectic schedule in February.

Jurgen Klopp's side could face as many as eight games during the month, and possibly nine in 30 days ending in their midweek Premier League fixture with Manchester City on March 2.

It all kicks off for Liverpool with a Premier League trip to Leicester on Tuesday, February 2, before hosting Sunderland four days later.

Their fourth-round replay with West Ham will then be on either Tuesday 9 on Wednesday 10, before another league trip to Aston Villa, which will be live on Sky Sports on Sunday 14.

After that comes their Europa League last-32 clash with Bundesliga side Augsburg, and the two legs of that tie on Thursday 18 and 25 could come either side of a potential FA Cup fifth-round match, should they beat West Ham in their fourth-round replay.

And the month will conclude against Manchester City in the Capital One Cup final on Sunday, February 28 live on Sky Sports - they then meet City again in the Premier League at Anfield three days later.

Despite the fixture congestion, Klopp sees no reason to go into the transfer market ahead of Monday's deadline.

"It should not be the reason [to sign players], one game more," Klopp told the club's official website. "Since the last game against West Ham, we have had three or four games more. But we could rest the team that played against Stoke.

"They had today off and that's good, so we will again have fresh legs against Leicester. That's the good news. In this moment the draw doesn't feel too brilliant, but when we go to West Ham, we will see the chance to go into the next round again.

"It's an intensive time. Hopefully, one player or other will come back from injury in the next few weeks and then we'll have enough players."
