Liverpool keen to extend Jurgen Klopp deal at Anfield

Liverpool's owners have approached Jurgen Klopp about extending his contract, Sky Sports News HQ understands.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss moved to Anfield in October 2015 on a contract that runs until 2018.
Klopp led Liverpool to the Europa League and Capital One Cup finals in his first season in charge and offered some stability to the club after taking over from Brendan Rodgers.
Reds' owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) are understood to have initiated the contract discussions as they look to turn that initial promise into silverware.
Klopp is the fourth manager during FSG's time in control of the club.
The man they inherited, Roy Hodgson, soon left to be replaced by club legend Kenny Dalglish, initially on a short-term basis.
The Scot was then given a three-year deal and despite winning the League Cup and reaching the FA Cup final the next season, he was sacked because of poor Premier League results.
Rodgers took over and narrowly missed out on winning the league in his second season, enough to earn him a new four-year contract, but five months later he was sacked after a poor run of results.
Liverpool begin their pre-season preparations with a game against Tranmere on Friday, the first of nine friendlies they will play ahead of their Premier League opener against Arsenal on August 13
