Philippe Coutinho's stunning strike saw Liverpool beat Leicester City in the Premier League Asia Trophy final on Saturday.

The Brazilian, who has been in the headlines this week for different reasons, put Liverpool ahead in Hong Kong after Mohamed Salah had cancelled out Islam Slimani's opener.

Coutinho's pass for Salah's equaliser was also a touch of class, lofting the ball over the Leicester defence for the new Liverpool signing to latch onto and head into the net.

Jurgen Klopp has insisted Liverpool midfielder Coutinho is not for sale, after Sky Sports News revealed on Thursday that Barcelona want to sign him this summer and are willing to pay more than £70m.

Coutinho pledged his future to Liverpool in January by signing a new five-and-a-half-year contract, with the deal including no release clause.

Klopp said earlier in the week: "I have nothing to say about this, I'm sorry but obviously these stories are without my saying, so why should I disturb this process? Do whatever you want with this news, I am not interested. But what I can say, keeping the group together would make sense."
