Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain posted an update of his intense workout on Instagam, as he continues his rehabilitation.

The 25-year-old suffered a knee injury during the semi-final first leg against Roma in the Champions League last season.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been out since and missed the World Cup in Russia which saw England reach the semi-final stage.

The midfielder took to his social media account to post a picture of himself testing his leg at the gym and captioned it "on the grind".

Oxlade-Chamberlain joined Liverpool from Arsenal last summer and went on to make 39 appearances and scored five goals.
