Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool won't have a chance against Bayern Munich if they start thinking about facing Man Utd on Super Sunday

Dejan Lovren will face a last-minute fitness test ahead of Liverpool's Champions League last-16 tie against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

Centre-back Lovren is still recovering from the hamstring injury he suffered against Wolves in January and did not travel with the rest of the squad for their warm-weather training camp in Marbella.

Lovren and Roberto Firmino were not spotted by any of the cameras present at Liverpool's training session on Monday afternoon.

Klopp will already be without Virgil van Dijk for the last-16 tie due to suspension and, therefore, will hope Lovren can recover in time for the game against Bayern and boost his defensive options.

Winger Xherdan Shaqiri will also face a late fitness test ahead of a potential reunion against his former side, after missing Liverpool's last Premier League game against Bournemouth with an abdominal strain.

Meanwhile, Georginio Wijnaldum has returned to training and is in contention for Tuesday's match after recovering from illness.

Speaking to the club's website, Klopp said: "I don't know 100 per cent. It's Monday and we play on Tuesday so most of that should be clear.

"Gini trained and looked really well. Shaq did a lot, so it will be close, we have to see.

"Dejan, I actually have to wait minute by minute if there is a chance or not.

"But that's pretty much all, I would say."
