Mohamed Salah has joined Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor on a free transfer.
Salah has signed a two-year deal following his exit from Liverpool at the end of last season after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract a year early.
The decision ended a nine-year spell at Anfield, cutting short the terms he had agreed in April 2025, after a difficult season that saw him dropped and publicly fall out with then-Liverpool head coach Arne Slot.
One of Liverpool's greatest players, Salah lifted seven major trophies during his time on Merseyside and left as the club's third-highest goalscorer, netting 257 in 442 games.

The 34-year-old has long been a target for clubs in Saudi Arabia, and that appeared to be Salah's most likely destination when he delivered a bombshell interview after being dropped at Leeds last season. It was less than three years ago that Liverpool rejected a £150m offer from Saudi club Al Ittihad for Salah.
Why has Salah picked Trabzonspor?
Sky Sports News' Kaveh Solhekol:
"The deal makes financial sense for him. There are reports in Turkey that he will be paid around £15m a year. The tax environment in Turkey is very favourable to professional footballers as well and he's going to play in a league that has a lot of big games and passionate supporters.
"He's also got the prospect of playing European competition. There's a good chance Trabzonspor will be playing in the Europa League next season.
"It ticks a lot of boxes for him. He had lots of other options as well."
Carragher questions Salah move
Sky Sports' Jamie Carragher:
"I never believed he was going to go to Saudi, because number one, he's too good for that. I think he can be playing in Serie A. Turkey for me feels a level too low.
"I was convinced he'd end up at AC Milan or Juventus or somewhere like that; maybe his wages were a problem. Looking at him, I don't know him; I have never spoken to him.
"But he's like Ronaldo, he's so driven, his numbers mean so much to him. I thought, he can still do this in Turkey by the way, but I thought he'd want to play at a real prestigious club.
"Obviously his wage demands have put a few people off but I thought he might almost curb those demands a little bit to almost get a better club.
"To go to an AC Milan or Juventus or whoever it may be, play at the San Siro, still playing in big games, still playing in Europe. Turkey just feels like... I just think he's better than that."
