Luis Suarez's potential new contract at Liverpool will leave defenders quaking in their boots, according to Kenny Dalglish.
Uruguayan expected to sign new deal at the end of the season
The potential of Luis Suarez to sign a new contract at Liverpool will leave Premier League defenders quaking in their boots, according to Kenny Dalglish.
Liverpool's No.7 has been linked with a summer move to Paris Saint Germain after what has been a controversial first full season in England.
But former Ajax striker Suarez, who moved to Anfield in January 2011 in a £22.8million deal, recently dismissed the speculation and said he 'would like to stay'.
The Uruguayan signed a five-and-a-half-year deal when he first joined Liverpool and is now expected to agree an extension at the end of the season.
Happy
And ahead of Wednesday night's game at QPR, Dalglish said: "It's certainly encouraging for us, although it might be bad news for the other Premier League teams.
"Luis has always said he is happy here, so it's great for everyone who supports us.
"I don't think he has been anything other than a threat to the opposition.
"So we are delighted with the wee man's comments and we have been delighted with him since he has been here.
"Luis has made a contribution every time he has stepped out on to the pitch. He scores goals, creates goals and it's great news that he is happy."
