Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is closing in on a first-team return after being sidelined last month with a hamstring problem.

The England international was injured in the early stages of the 3-0 Capital One Cup defeat to Sheffield Wednesday on October 27 and has missed the Gunners' last three matches as a result.

However, the 22-year-old is recovering well and could be back in contention for Arsenal's Premier League trip to West Brom next Saturday.

Oxlade-Chamberlain demonstrated his improving fitness by posting a video of himself taking part in a training session on his official Instagram account.
