Chelsea suffered their heaviest Premier League home defeat at the hands of Bournemouth, and Callum Wilson finished off a superb team move to break the deadlock as the Cherries swept to a 3-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.
Theo Walcott was the star man as Everton defeated Leicester City 2-1 at Goodison Park with his second goal a fine finish at the far post.
Tottenham were fast out of the traps against Manchester United as Christian Eriksen scored after just 11 seconds en route to a 2-0 win at Wembley while Sergio Aguero wrapped up a routine 3-0 win for Manchester City over West Brom at the Etihad Stadium.
