Emile Smith Rowe has given the shirt he wore on his Arsenal debut to his mother.
The 18-year-old came on in the second half of the Europa League win over Vorskla on Thursday night to become the first player born after the Millennium to play for the Gunners.
At full-time, he filmed a short video with Arsenal's club media channels and held up the No 55 shirt before stating: "This is the first Arsenal shirt that I've worn - and it's going to go to my mum."
Croydon-born Smith Rowe has been with the Arsenal academy since the age of 10 and debuted for the club's U23s side at just 16 years old.
The attacking midfielder was part of the England U17 side that won the World Cup last year and is now an England U18 international.
He was praised by Arsenal boss Unai Emery in the summer after impressing in the International Champions Trophy.
Emery said: "I am very happy with his work on the pitch, but not only today. It's every day. He's starting today's match because his performances have been good in every training session."
