Arsenal are interested in signing Sampdoria goalkeeper Emil Audero as a replacement for the retiring Petr Cech, according to Sky in Italy.
The 22 year old is currently on loan from Juventus, and has featured 21 times for Sampdoria, who are eighth in Serie A, this season.
Cech announced earlier this month that he will retire at the end of the season after 15 years in the Premier League.
He moved to Arsenal from London rivals Chelsea in 2015, and was first choice at the Emirates Stadium until this summer, when he lost his place to new signing Bernd Leno.
Audero came through the youth ranks at Juventus, but has only made one appearance for their first team.
He has also been capped by Italy at a number of age group levels, including earning nine caps for their U21s.
