PIRES IN O'LEARY BUST-UP
Leeds won the full-blooded encounter 1-0, with seven Arsenal players being booked by referee Dermot Gallagher, much to the annoyance of Gunners manager Arsene Wenger.
After earlier reports of a tunnel incident involving Wenger, it has been revealed that O'Leary taunted Pires as he left the Arsenal dressing room.
The Leeds manager, breaking off from an interview, blew a kiss to Pires before saying "au revoir" after the French international made comment as he passed him.
This caused the player to turn to O'Leary in rage and abuse him in French, calling him "putain", or whore.
Gunners striker Thierry Henry, alongside Pires, had to hold the player back and told O'Leary: "That is not a nice way for a coach to behave. That is not right."
Pires is then reported to have kicked a glass door as he was pulled away to the team coach, although it is as yet unclear whether the FA will take any action over the incident.
Meanwhile, Gunners midfielder Patrick Vieira could find himself facing a "trial by video" situation after it was revealed that the FA will study pictures of two incidents in the game.
In one, he appears to kick out while falling over, and catches personal friend Olivier Dacourt on the chin - although the Leeds midfielder said that there was no malice in the incident - while the FA will also study footage of him seemingly head-butting Eirik Bakke at a corner.
