Vieira hails Silva partnership
ARSENAL captain Patrick Vieira has praised his midfield partnership with new Gunners signing Gilberto Silva.
Brazilian World Cup winner Silva arrived from Atletico Mineiro in the summer and has settled into life well at Highbury.
The duo have formed a formidable partnership in the centre of the park and Vieira has been impressed by the performances of Silva.
"I go forward when I can and Gilberto also likes to get into the final third," said Vieira.
"I think our understanding is getting better every game that we play.
"We have already improved and it is exciting developing out partnership in the middle.
"When we are playing like that, it is so enjoyable to be involved."
