Goalkeeper Vito Mannone does not believe Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski warrant a place ahead of him in the Arsenal first-team.
Mannone is currently on international duty with Italy's Under-21 team and the 22-year-old has revealed he is keen to see more action than he is receiving at Emirates Stadium this season.
The former Atalanta shot-stopper has struggled to force his way into Wenger's plans, with Almunia and Fabianski both ahead of the Italian in the pecking order.
But Mannone does not understand why they have been preferred after both goalkeepers have come under fierce criticism in the last 12 months.

"I am happy in London," he said in
Gazzetta dello Sport. "I love the Premier League.
"Last year I played nine games and with me, Arsenal never lost.
"They brought Almunia back and then Fabianski started in the game at Chelsea
"I get annoyed when I don't play, it's not as if the other two do that well.
"But if I've signed a contract extension until 2014 it is because they must value me."

While Mannone insists his priority would be to break into the Gunners first team, the Italian custodian would welcome the opportunity to go out on a short-term loan to get some first-team football under his belt.
Mannone, who spent a spell with Barnsley back in 2006, added: "I don't get regular playing time at Arsenal.
"I would consider a six-month loan deal just to play."
