Arsenal striker Robin van Persie is not giving up on the Premier League title race, stating they are taking things one game at a time.
The Gunners maintained the pace with league leaders Manchester City on Wednesday following a 2-1 success over Aston Villa.
The North Londoners are 12 points behind City and the Dutch striker knows anything can happen in England's top flight.
Arsenal have already lost 8-2 at Manchester United while they stunned Chelsea by securing a 5-3 success at Stamford Bridge.
The 28-year-old is looking to win every game, believing that could be enough to finish top come the end of the season.
Early
"It is still early," said Van Persie. "We've only played 17 games, we're not even halfway, so anything can happen in this league.
"Our result against Manchester United was a bit of a surprise, our result away at Chelsea was a big surprise, and then Manchester United lost to Manchester City 6-1, so anything is possible.
"The way we look at it is that we challenge for every single game and we will see what that will bring us."
Support
Van Persie was also delighted for on-loan Yossi Benayoun as he scored a late header at Villa Park to bag all three points.
He joked: "It was really good for Yossi as well because he has been training unbelievably, trust me.
"Everyone was hoping for him to get a chance and he took it. Everyone is so pleased for him."
