Transfer news: Roma striker Mattia Destro set for AC Milan switch

Roma striker Mattia Destro has agreed to join AC Milan, the struggling Serie A giants have announced.
The Rossoneri lost striker Stephan El Shaarawy to a foot injury earlier this week and are looking to reinforce their forward line before the end of the transfer window.
Destro is currently under contract until 2017 but has started just eight games at the Stadio Olimpico this season.
Details of his move have not yet been confirmed, though it is believed the 23-year-old - a rumoured target for Chelsea and Real Madrid last summer - will move to the San Siro on a six-month loan deal worth 700,000 euros (£520,000), ahead of a potential permanent switch for £12m in the summer.
A brief statement on Milan's website said: "Mattia Destro has said yes to a move to AC Milan."
Destro would be the club's second signing in as many days, following the arrival of Spartak Moscow midfielder Salvatore Bocchetti on a six-month loan deal on Wednesday.
He posted on his official Facebook page: "Thank you Roma: I was a kid and you helped me to grow up... it was here I discovered that Love with a capital L really exists.
"Now, it's off to Milan for a new challenge but I'm confident and determined!!!! Now the countdown to my first game at the San Siro begins."
Destro could make his debut in Sunday's home game against Parma and will hope to help inspire an upturn in form.
Milan slipped to 11th in Serie A - 23 points behind leaders and champions Juventus - following Sunday's 3-1 defeat to Lazio.
