Everton midfielder Tom Davies is expected to sign a contract extension keeping him at the club until 2023, Sky Sports News understands.

Davies, 20, has featured in 16 Premier League games so far this season and manager Marco Silva is determined to tie him down to a new deal.

The England U21 international was a reported transfer target for Celtic in the January transfer window according to newspaper reports.

Everton are also expected to hold discussions with club captain Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines over their futures at the club within the next 10 days.
