Campo tips Rooney for greatness
BOLTON defender Ivan Campo believes that Everton's teenage sensation Wayne Rooney is as a good as any top striker he has ever faced.
Campo, along with his Bolton team-mates, was given a torrid time by the exiting talent in Saturday's goalless draw between the sides and he has tipped him for a big future in the game.
"Wayne Rooney is a great player. I told him that after the game but I don't know if he understood me," said Campo.
"He can play in any team in the world. I have played against Rivaldo, Ronaldo, [Alessandro] Del Piero, [Filippo] Inzaghi and all of the Bayern Munich players and this lad can play at any level in any country."
