Former Everton target heading to Eastern Europe

Kostas Manolas, who almost joined Everton in January, has agreed to join Ukrainian outfit FC Dnipro. The Toffees were keen on Manolas, and almost concluded a move for the AEK Athens defender on deadline day but the move failed to materialise. Manolas, whose contract with AEK was due to expire in the summer, had attracted further interest from the likes of Newcastle, Bolton and Wigan. However, he has now agreed terms with Dnipro on a four-year deal after they agreed to pay AEK £500,000.
