Sky Sports understands Bolton have made an official approach for Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha. Zaha's future at Crystal Palace has been the subject of speculation for some time with the skilful attacker regarded as one of the best young talents outside the Premier League. The likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Newcastle, Queens Park Rangers, Fulham, Tottenham and Stoke have all been credited with an interest in Zaha in the past. However, Bolton are hoping to steal a march on their rivals by making the first move for the 19-year-old and they have made an approach to Palace for the winger. Bolton boss Owen Coyle is keen to bolster his squad before the close of the transfer window and he has money to spend following the sale of Gary Cahill to Chelsea Crystal Palace boss Dougie Freedman is eager to keep Zaha but has admitted he could lose players before the transfer window shuts next week. It remains to be seen if Palace will be willing to sell Zaha and Bolton's interest in the fleet-footed player could spark interest from a number of their Premier League rivals.
