ROYALS SIGN NEWMAN
READING have completed the signing of Ricky Newman from Millwall on a Bosman free transfer.
The 29-year-old midfielder, who impressed Royals manager Alan Pardew during a loan spell at the Madejski stadium last term, has completed the move after finding his opportunities limited at the New Den.
The Guildford-born player started his career at Crystal Palace, before joining The Lions in 1995, and will now hope that he can establish himself in Reading’s first team.
