Reading have confirmed that Emerse Fae has joined Ligue 1 side Nice on a season-long loan. The Royals have been braced for Fae's exit since their relegation to the Championship. The Ivory Coast international signed at the Madejski Stadium last summer from Nantes for a fee of £2.5million. Fae, 24, struggled to settle in England, making just eight Premier League appearances last term, and returns to France in a bid to get his career back on track.
