Australian midfielder eager to seize chance

Reading youngster Oliver Bozanic has set his sights on a first-team place after signing a new one-year deal. The Australia Under-20 international has yet to make his full debut for The Royals since moving from Central Coast Mariners in 2007. But after gaining experience in the Blue Square Premier during a loan spell with Woking last season, the 20-year-old midfielder is hoping to make an impression on new boss Brendan Rodgers. "This new contract is really great," he told the club's official website. "I am very excited, especially with a new manager coming in. "These are exciting times and I can't wait for the season to start. "We all met the new manager on Monday. He's a very nice manager, very straightforward and I'm excited to work with him. "Hopefully I will be able to get a chance and he seems like a more technical manager."
