Tottenham's Andros Townsend back in first-team contention

Andros Townsend is back training with Tottenham's first team and is in contention to make the squad for Sunday's game against West Ham, according to Sky sources.
The England winger had been disciplined by head coach Mauricio Pochettino after he clashed with club fitness coach Nathan Gardiner following the recent win over Aston Villa.
Townsend was dropped from the squads for the Europa League match against Anderlecht and the north London derby showdown with Arsenal, and made to train with the U21s.
The 24-year-old apologised for his actions and has been allowed to return to the first-team squad during the international break.
Explaining his decision to punish Townsend earlier this month, Pochettino said: "When you behave in the wrong way, obviously you need to pay.
"It's my decision when he is available again. For me, discipline is very important. We have a very young squad and they can make mistakes, but when you cross the limit it's important to stop that.
"As a manager I am very friendly, but discipline is very important between us and the staff. The staff need to show respect to the players and the players need to show respect to the staff."
