Harry Kane called Tottenham's 4-1 win over West Ham on Super Sunday their best performance of the season.
Kane took his London derby goal total to 12 in 14 games with two more strikes and after just one goal in his first 13 matches he now has eight goals in his last five.
"That's probably the best performance we've had this season," Kane said.
"We came out of the blocks flying, we were full of energy - the whole week training has been incredible so we went into the game and tried to put that out on the pitch and we've come out with a good result."
Kane struck 32 times for his club and country last term but his struggles were well publicised earlier this season with talk of him being a one season wonder.
The England international understands that being a striker at a Premier League club brings extra scrutiny, but he's happy with his current form.
"It's part of being a striker," Kane added.
"When your confidence is high you just feel like you're going to score each game that comes along. I probably should have had a couple more in this game. But I'm delighted with the way things are going. The most important thing is that we're winning games and we're playing very well as well."
