Tottenham have handed squad numbers to four promising youngsters who have been added to their Europa League group.
Tom Glover, 18, is on the A list as a back-up goalkeeper and been given the No 40 shirt, while Cameron Carter-Vickers, Shayon Harrison, and another 'keeper Alfie Whiteman have been placed on the B list.
Under UEFA rules, no club may have more than 25 players on List A during the season, two of whom must be goalkeepers. As a minimum, eight places are reserved exclusively for 'locally-trained players', of which no more than four can be 'association-trained players'.
The rules also state a player can be registered on List B if he is born on or after January 1, 1994 and has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday by the time he is registered with UEFA.
Players aged 16 may be registered on List B if they have been registered with the participating club for the previous two years without interruption. Each club is entitled to register an unlimited number of players on List B during the season.
Centre-back Carter-Vickers, one of a number of young players identified by Sky Sports to make the breakthrough at Spurs, will wear the No 38 shirt and is back-up to first-choice Toby Alderweireld.
Striker Harrison, 18, travelled to Spurs' final away tie in the group stage in November and will wear 39 while Whiteman, an England U17 international, is fifth-choice 'keeper and No 41.
Federico Fazio and Alex Pritchard have not been named in the squad after joining Sevilla and West Brom, respectively, on loan for the rest of the season.
