Tottenham youngster Harry Winks signs new deal until 2019

Tottenham youngster Harry Winks has signed a new contract with the club until 2019.

The 20-year-old midfielder's new deal extends the previous three-year contract he signed only last summer by a further year and increases his wages.

Winks is thought of highly by head coach Mauricio Pochettino and is one of a number of youngsters on the cusp of breaking into the first-team.

Spurs, therefore, will not allow the promising youngster, who has made two appearances and appeared on the bench a further 10 times this season, to go out on loan this month.
