Tottenham must match Harry Kane's ambition by keeping hold of their star players and making moves in the transfer market, according to Sky Sports expert Jamie Redknapp.
Kane has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 25 goals and winning the Premier League Golden Boot.
Spurs were pushing Leicester all the way in the title run-in but two points from their last four games meant they finished third behind the Foxes and local rivals Arsenal.
Despite the end-of-season slump it was still a great campaign for Tottenham as they surpassed all expectations and secured Champions League football next year.
The likes of Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen have been crucial in Spurs' rise up the table but other clubs may be keen to poach their star players in the same way Luka Modric and Gareth Bale were.
But Redknapp believes Spurs must resist any moves for their key players.
"He's [Kane] a great example of hard work and dedication," Redknapp said on the Premier League 15/16 Season Review.
"All that is now paying off because a lot of young players don't do that anymore. He certainly has and that's why he has got to the very top.
"Tottenham now have to match his ambitions. For many years Tottenham have sold their best players and that's why they have not really kicked on.
"If they want to maintain this and become a force they have to keep those players and maybe add one or two."
