Ian Broomfield has left his role as a senior scout at Tottenham after his contract expired, just weeks before the January transfer window opens.
He is the second member of Spurs' transfer committee to either leave or announce an intention to leave within the last six months.
Head of recruitment Paul Mitchell announced his resignation in the summer and is currently working out a 16-month notice period until the end of 2017.
Sky sources understand Mitchell is still fulfilling his full remit as overseer of player recruitment and will do so for the next two transfer windows.
Spurs, however, are not expected to be busy in the January market after recruiting four new first-team players in the summer.
Broomfield worked as a scout for Harry Redknapp at both Portsmouth and Tottenham before leaving the club in 2012 during the time of Andre Villas-Boas.
He returned to White Hart Lane for a second time in 2014 after working with Redknapp again at QPR and played a hand in the signings of Eric Dier and Toby Alderweireld among others.
