Danny Rose and Erik Lamela miss Tottenham training ahead of Gent Europa League clash

Danny Rose and Erik Lamela did not train on Wednesday ahead of Tottenham's Europa League last-32 second leg against Gent.

Left-back Rose has been sidelined with a knee injury since the Premier League draw at Sunderland in January, and is still a number of weeks away from a return to training.

Lamela, who has been out since October with a hip problem, is making progress on his recovery and working on the grass, but do date has yet been set for his return to the first team.

Promising youngster Marcus Edwards, who suffered a bad ankle injury earlier in the season, was involved with first-team training as he continues his return to fitness.

Fellow youngsters Cameron Carter-Vickers and Kyle Walker-Peters were also involved ahead of the sold-out clash at Wembley Stadium on Thursday.
