Mauricio Pochettino praises Tottenham's mentality

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has rubbished the suggestion his squad lack the mentality to win trophies.
Pochettino has been lauded for his work at White Hart Lane, guiding Spurs to third place in the Premier League last campaign, but has yet to win a trophy in almost three seasons in charge.
Tottenham faltered on the run-in last season as Leicester claimed the title, and squandered another chance for silverware when they lost to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday.
Spurs head to Crystal Palace on Wednesday, live on Sky Sports, seven points behind Antonio Conte's leaders but Pochettino insists his squad are capable of ending their trophy drought.
"I have no doubt," said Pochettino. "It's important to have memory. The first season we arrived we got 35 players, and we started to rebuild the team during the season.
"We start to compete in the last two seasons. Last season we finished third, the best place in the Premier League for Tottenham, now we are second and fighting with the big sides with a completely different project.
"The mentality is fantastic, to win always. But, when you compete with Chelsea, Man United, Man City, Liverpool - come on.
"The players deserve full credit and you should remove that idea because it's not true. They are winners. Another thing is to win titles, but they are winners."
Spurs continue their pursuit of the title at Selhurst Park and Pochettino thinks they need to win all six of their remaining Premier League games if they are to have a chance of catching leaders Chelsea.
