Tottenham have had an approach from Real Betis to sign Vincent Janssen, Sky Sports News understands.

Spurs value Janssen at £15m and are keen on a permanent move away as the striker is considered surplus to requirements at the club.

Tottenham signed Janssen from AZ Alkmaar on a four-year contract in 2016 for a fee understood to be £18.6m.

With Harry Kane out injured and Heung-Min Son having been away on international duty, Mauricio Pochettino turned to Fernando Llorente to lead Spurs' attack.
