Dele Alli and Erik Lamela face late fitness tests ahead of Tottenham's Champions League quarter-final second leg against Manchester City.

The pair both trained with the rest of the Spurs squad on Tuesday and have travelled to Manchester, but Harry Winks will not be in the squad after injuring his groin in training.

Alli broke his hand in Spurs' 1-0 win in the first leg against City and Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino had been unsure if the England midfielder would be fit for the trip to the Etihad.

But speaking on Tuesday, Pochettino said: "We need to assess him, we are going to have the last training session today and we are going to decide whether it is possible for him to start or be on the bench."

England captain Harry Kane will miss the tie after suffering a potentially season-ending ankle injury in the first leg at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
