Spurs line-up striker

Tottenham Hotspur have lined up a deadline day bid for Everton striker Louis Saha, Sky Sports understands. Spurs have made their approach for the 33-year-old and are understood to have agreed a deal until the end of the season with a view to extending that to another season. Saha has seemingly been told he can leave Everton as The Toffees are set to bring in Rangers star Nikica Jelavic. Spurs, though, are also keen to offload Roman Pavlyuchenko before bringing him in, but it remains to be seen whether that will be a telling factor.
