Blackburn defender destroyed dressing room after sending-off
Blackburn's Martin Olsson has admitted he was furious with himself after being sent off against Tottenham and took his anger out on the dressing room.
Aaron Lennon dispossessed the Swedish defender before setting up Roman Pavlyuchenko for the crucial goal after just nine minutes.
Olsson was given a torrid time by the Spurs winger throughout the first half and was sent off just before the interval after being shown a second yellow card.
The 20-year-old accepts that the referee was right to dismiss him but he was unable to hide his frustration after such a poor display.
"I was at the ball, not Lennon, when I got my first yellow card," Olsson told
TT.
"The second card, well there's nothing to say about that one, it was a really bad day at work for me.
"I can't even explain how it felt. My first thought was 'have I really been sent off', I was so disappointed, mainly at myself.
"I destroyed most things in the locker room. I kicked at everything I saw, doors, garbage cans, cardboard boxes."
Olsson was selected after recovering from a recent illness but he concedes that he still was not fully fit.
He said: "I wasn't 100 per cent, the infection is still in the body. I've been throwing up and not been good at all."
