Newcastle goalkeeper Rob Elliot put in a man-of-the-match performance in their 2-1 win at Tottenham, and the Super Sunday team thought he played brilliantly

Newcastle goalkeeper Rob Elliot put in a man-of-the-match performance as his side came from behind to snatch a 2-1 win at Tottenham on Super Sunday.

Elliot pulled off a string of fine saves to keep Spurs at bay before substitutes Aleksander Mitrovic and Ayoze Perez scored to seal all three points to move Steve McClaren's side out of the Premier League relegation zone.

And the Super Sunday team - which included Graeme Souness, Thierry Henry and David Moyes - were impressed with Elliot's fine performance at White Hart Lane.
