Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko says he is not concerned by his price tag and hopes to secure a quick move away from St James' Park.

The France international was unable to help steer Newcastle clear of relegation last season but, after some impressive performances at Euro 2016, there is now plenty of interest in the 26-year-old.

Sky Sports News HQ understands Newcastle have told other clubs they will have to pay £35m if they want to sign Sissoko this summer.

But Sissoko, who thanked Newcastle and their fans in a post-Euro 2016 message on social media, is confident a move will happen soon despite his hefty price tag.

"Newcastle would ask for £35m? It could be 20. For me it changes nothing," he told L'Equipe.

"The interested clubs will know how to find common ground. I hope that it will be as early as possible."
