Wilfried Bony is loving life at Manchester City and has labelled the club’s training facilities as the “best in Europe”.

City's £200m complex opened in December last year and boasts unrivalled state-of-the-art facilities.

The 80-acre site - funded by City's owners and built in partnership with Manchester City Council - includes a 7,000-seater stadium, 16 full size pitches, four-star accommodation as well as education, medical and sports science facilities.

"It is one of the best facilities in Europe. It is great to see how many pitches we have, the club did well to build this facility," Bony told Good Morning Sports Fans on Sky Sports News HQ

"This is my first year, so all I can say is that I am really enjoying it. It is very nice for the players as we really enjoy training out on the pitches, in the gym and everything else. Everything is set up really well."

Bony joined City from Swansea City for £25m in January, but has netted just seven times since arriving at the Etihad Stadium.

The Ivory Coast forward scored 20 goals for Swansea in 2014 - the most in the Premier League during the year.

Despite failing to replicate his prolific scoring form for City, Bony insists he feels settled at the club and believes all the players are feeling the benefit of their new training ground.

"It has helped me, but it is different from when I was at Swansea. We would only sleep in a hotel if we play away, but when we play at home I need to come and I need to adapt myself to that," he added.

"It was not easy in the beginning, but I know now. The rooms are comfortable, so we are happy and enjoy our time here."
