Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany pleased with third win in four games

Vincent Kompany believes Manchester City’s title challenge is back on track after thrashing Aston Villa 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
Sergio Aguero's double either side of goals from Yaya Toure and substitute Raheem Sterling saw City move to within two points of third-placed Arsenal with a game in hand on their rivals.
City had lost their three previous league games but Kompany insisted it is not a true reflection of their form after beating Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League before winning the Capital One Cup last weekend.
"It's been an awkward week but if you actually look at the last four games we've won three of them. They were over different competitions," Kompany said.
"For the whole team it's now important to get to the level we showed here.
"Actually in the last four games we've shown three times that we can achieve a very good level of play. That's what we've got to maintain from now until the end of the season."
City stay 10 points behind Leicester after Riyad Mahrez's second- half strike sealed a 1-0 win for the Foxes in their Saturday Night Football clash at Watford.
But Manuel Pellegrini's men can close that gap to seven points if they win their game in hand, and Bacary Sagna thinks City can successfully mount a late charge for the title as they did in 2012 and 2014.
"This team has done it before so why not," the City right-back said.
"We have all the players and all the quality required.
"It's important to win all our games now to stay in the competition to win the league. We are confident - of course it's going to be difficult."
