Sergio Aguero insists Manchester City have no preferences over who they will face in the Champions League semi-finals.

City reached the last four of the competition for the first time after beating Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 at the Etihad on Tuesday evening to secure a 3-2 aggregate success.

The Premier League side will be joined in the semi-finals by 10-time European champions Real Madrid along with the winners of the ties between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich and Benfica.

Aguero, who missed a first-half penalty against PSG before Kevin De Bruyne's 76th-minute strike sealed the win, knows there is now no easy route to the final in Milan on May 28.

"At this point you cannot choose. To win the Champions League you have to play against the best and we were up against one of those, a favourite," said Aguero.

"This was our goal, to be among the four best teams in the Champions League and now we want to keep growing. The confidence is there, we are in semis and anything can happen.
