Manchester City's Raheem Sterling returns to training ahead of Saturday's game against Chelsea. He injured his knee in the weekend win over Burnley.

Manchester City were back training on Wednesday ahead of Saturday lunchtime's live Sky Sports game against Chelsea.

City's first free midweek since Pep Guardiola's appointment resulted in a couple of days off at the start of the week, but the players were back at it in Manchester as preparations for the weekend's top-of-the-table meeting began in earnest.

A minute's silence was observed for the victims of the plane crash that killed many of Brazilian club Chapecoense's playing squad and staff, and then it was down to business.

Raheem Sterling trained with his team-mates despite the knee injury he suffered during Saturday's win at Burnley, but it was a solo session for Fabian Delph, who is still waiting for his comeback after three months out with a groin problem.
