Corinthians still want former striker
Corinthians' new president, Roberto Andrade, has confirmed he will continue the club's pursuit of former star Carlos Tevez.
The Brazilian club made a bid to take Tevez back to Brazil in the summer under then president Andres Sanchez.
Now Andrade, who will take over from Sanchez in January, has confirmed he will continue their pursuit of the Manchester City striker - who is also wanted by AC Milan and Paris Saint Germain.
Andrade admitted they will soon re-open talks with City, with a view to agreeing a deal.
"He is a great player," he told
Estadao.
"At the start of the year we will start up talks again, but it will be a difficult negotiation.
"His value is extremely high, but Corinthians will work hard on this.
"We are going to try once again. We know that Manchester City (are) asking for too much, but if we don't try, we will never know."
